How To Treat Tibial Plateau Fracture On Left Knee Area?

Hi I recently had a tibial plateau fracture on my left knee area. It s now two days after surgery and I am home, I m in a joint brace set at 50° and I have compression socks on and my heel is going numb and it s cold. I have been elevating my foot on a pillow to keep the swelling down and I think that that might be a cause or the braces too tight. The compression socks seem to be pretty tight as well any help would be much appreciated thank you

I have studied your case and I think that your compression bandage is very tight and this can be cause of swelling in the leg, so I would suggest you to remove that stocking.
Also continue knee exercises and ankle movements .This will reduce swelling. Also do not keep your leg hanging. As it cause all blood to pooled down in ankle joint. Apply ice over thigh and ankle but do not apply ice near dressing.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanke.
