How To Treat The Severe Itching Caused By Shaving The Vaginal Pubic Hair?

Hello:

So I shaved my vagina bald a few days ago, probably the 2nd time I've ever done that. It's been itching like crazy, I've tried Bikini Zone product and hemroid cream, both work for the first hour or two, but nothing makes it go away. Now stupid me, I've been scratching do much that my clitoral prepuce started to bleed a little. I got it to stop, but what should I do?

Hi,

Itching after shaving can be stopped by applying aloe vera lotion. If the itch persists then 1% hydrocortisone can be applied 2-3 times daily. Avoid shaving for 1-2 months. Proper hygiene of the area should be maintained.
If there is no improvement after all then consult a local dermatologist.
