How To Treat The Initial Stage Of Muscular Dystrophy?
Hi ,my father is a patient of muscular dystrophy. It is in progressive stage as in his internal muscles have gone very weak. He is bed ridden most of the times. He has huge choking attacks whenever he eats any semi solid food. Is getting a feeding tube through his stomach a feasible option?

As you must be aware there is no permanent cure for muscular dystrophy.
• Supportive care has to be provided in form of medicines for the present ailments, physiotherapy, and certain procedures in selected cases as spinal curve correction or else as per the case need.
• In case of choking attacks, it is the best option to get a Ryle`s feeding tube to allow him liquids, semi-solid paste food through it.
