Hi Dr sumit,From past one month i had a problem in swallowing the solid and liquid food. food was stuck in throat. i went to doctor then he gave me rekool L and bificlav 625. i took medicine for 2 days. and now my throat is fine but i have burning sensation in middle of chest. some where in heart. i have studied this online and i came to know that it is Gastroesophageal reflux. i went to doc again and he gave me ULGEL A ( magaldrate, simethicone and oxetacaine). still i dont feeling well. what shuld i do? by taking these medicine i have little pain in my left EAR.
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having GERD ( Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease ) only. And bificlav 625 is antibiotic which can further aggravate GERD. So your symptoms are mostly due to GERD only. It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms. Try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief. 1. Avoid hot and spicy food. 2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. 3. Avoid stress and anxiety. 4. Start proton pump inhibitor. 5. Go for walk after meals. 6. Keep 2 - 3 pillows under head in the bed.
