I had a negative strep at the ER, (but was sent home with paperwork that said SYMPTOMS of pharyngitis/strep) I had pus pockets, swollen tonsils, swollen glands (neck) and it felt like I was swallowing glass. They gave me Z PAC & sent me home. A few days later, I felt better, although my throat still hurt (not as bad though) Finished the Z PAC, and today I have one red eye, headachy, and exhaustion. Small throat irritation still and possible NEW pus pockets. The majority of them left, along with the swelling, but today it seems like a new one. I just feel icky overall and don t have insurance to keep going to see the doctor. Prior to this (3 months) I had a c section, and after about a week, I had horrible neck pain...as if I had slept wrong. But I just couldn t shake it. Lots of ibuprofen & Tylenol (no help with those or Aleve) Not lots as in one dose (lots as in over the 3 month period) The neck pain is still there, along with the headache I keep basically everyday. I don t know if one has to do with the other, just thought I d throw that info in too.
