How To Treat Swollen Gland On My Right Jawline?

I have a swollen gland on my right jawline (just to the front of my ear) and a powerful earache (aching, throbbing). No fever, though. Is this most likely some type of ear infection? I also have psoriatic arthritis and just started Stalera injections on Friday (about 12-24 hrs before symptoms began), so I m a little suspicious of the timing. Thanks!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
in my opinion this is parotitis. do u have pain , and swelling, in this region during eating? if so, you are suffering from parotid gland inflammation, which may be due to stone in its secretary duct. I would recommend to my patients with such complaint to take pain killers, short course of antibiotics, hot fomentations over gland, massage from back to front after licking lemon I.e. sour taste to increase gland secretion. most of time patient get recover from conservative treatment. if not , you will need x-ray to confirm stone. then you must visit ENT specialist nearby.
