How To Treat Swelling In Ankle And Lower Leg?

I am 38 and female. I have swelling in my ankle and lower leg. My leg and foot feels cold to touch but I have no pain. I have been perscribed anti inflamatories 1 week ago but they haven't releived the swelling.I haven't injured my leg either. what could it be?

It can be ankle synovitis. I would suggest you to take rest, compression bandage, hot water fomentation. If swelling does not improve then get Crp, ra, esr. Get MRI done if investigation is needed.
