How To Treat Skin Rashes Around Lips?

Sir,Namastae. my skin around inside lips changed to red overnight without pain or itching and I fear it may extend to all other parts of skin outside. What are the precautions i have to follow? I am taking Homeo medicine? I am not interested. ok. Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain red skin around the lips can be due to a skin condition known as Perioral Dermatitis in which there is formation of red rashes around the lips that can also extend to areas around nose and also extend near the eyes..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned according to the cause..
In case if it is due to Perioral Dermatitis you will be advised to apply antibioitic ointments like Erythromycin..
Other topical preparations like Azelic acid ointment and retinoids like Adapelene gel can be advised..
You can also be advised to take oral antibiotics like Erythromycin, Doxycycline, Metronidazole..
You should avoid using any steroid based gels and also you should not apply any chemical cosmetics..
Keep the area clean and use plain water to wash your face..
