How To Treat Skin Burning And Black Spots Due To Toothpaste?
Hi Doctor.
I heard that toothpaste can help for acne. I put toothpaste in my face last night and I fall asleep. This morning I had a burning sensation on my face and a black mark on it. My face also feels tense, it seems that I got burn with it. Please help me. I dont want to have a scar on my face. some people told me that I should wash my face with special soaps but i do not know what to do thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skin burning and black spots due to toothpaste application which is mainly due to side effect of any ingredient of tooth paste on your skin which is leading to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation . I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap twice a day , after washing face apply cream containing kojic acid which is very effective twice a day. You should apply vitamin E oil before going to bed at night and apply ice cubes to face 1-2 minutes daily . If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and rule out condition like skin infection . Doctor may recommend chemical peeling or dermabrassion.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
