hello Doctor,i really need advised from you i have done cs to get my son,i have breast feeding my baby 31/2 year and still period not normal.Every months i should take primolut.Then it come 2 weeks later very little bleeding.my son is now 4 year stop breast feeding still the same problem

Hi,
If you have had regular cycles prior to having your baby, the causes for this menstrual irregularity could be due either to prolonged lactation leading to hormonal imbalance, weight gain secondary to delivery again leading to hormonal imbalance or impaired ovarian or pituitary function. You need to see a specialist now, get a physical evaluation, blood counts, hormonal profile, trans-vaginal sonogram and urinalysis. Getting a course or two of hormonal treatment usually helps. Please maintain a healthy weight and proper diet. Hope this helps.
