How To Treat Severe Headache And Bloody Cough?

Hi, I was playing softball earlier and got leveled in from the back. It knocked the wind out of me and gave me an instant headache. I got was a hot of breath for a about 20 minutes and was coughing up blood for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Headache is getting progressively worse, and have a sharp pain in upper ribs on back where was hit. Should I go to ER or wait it out?

Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic

I went through the history you have provided.
It seems from the history that you are having bloody cough and headache following injury.
This indicates injury of the lungs or the respiratory tract.
You need to consult your doctor for evaluation by X Ray or by CT scan to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Do write back to me for further questions.
