my friend suffers from scleroderma in the vaginal part of her body. she has been to many doctors and is getting no answers or relief. do you have any suggestions as to a specialty doctor she should see, diet changes, or anything that might give her some hope of dealing with this. thanks

HI. Scleroderma is rare only in a small part of the body , that too in a part like vagina. I wold advise you to ask your friend to get a second opinion of another Dermatologist and may be a biopsy of the affected part. As this is a part of the body concerning the life.
No diet changes.
Come back to us with the opinion and report of skin biopsy.
You can send photographs to get a visual diagnosis and may be a further advise like some surgery or plastic surgery procedures , which can help her .
