How To Treat Scars And Redness On Face Caused Due To Acne?

My sister is 23 (female),she suffered from acne for several months, now she doesn't have that many zits but acnes left redness and scars on her face, also her pores are so obvious. Which is worse she is suffering from black heads on her nose and forehead. She doesn't wanna put any makeup on so she hasn't go out for two weeks till today . Is it possible for her to has her flawless scin again? How can she get rid of these scars and redness?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have got post inflammatory hyperpigmentation leading to scars and also redness seems to be due to inflammation of skin..
As she has open pores it leads to more accumulation of dirt and leading to clogging of pores and black heads..
I would suggest that she should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help..
He can advise you to wash your face with salicylic acid containing facewash..
Apply creams or ointments containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin..
You can also be advised Vitamin E and C preparations..
Exfoliate your skin twice a skin with a mild scrub to unclog pores and it will help in reducing blackheads..
Limit sun exposure and always apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
Drink plenty of water, take nutritious diet and avoid oily food..
You can also go for treatments like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
