How To Treat Scab And Knee Stiffness Caused After Injury?

I fell in my knee 2 weeks ago, there was alot if pain and swelling. The swelling and the scab has gone away now but there is a bump on my knee cap that feels like jelly. Should I be concerned ? The pain is not completely gone yet and there is still some stiffness when I have been at rest for awhile but its on the way to normal, the only thing that doesn t seem normal is that bump.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some blood collection or fluid collection due to injury producing this swelling and crepetition.
There might be having some injury on capsule or ligament or other joint structure.
You might require aspiration of fluid.
Apply ice pack for few days.
Go for physiotherapy of the joint.
Ok and take care.
