How To Treat Red Skin Tag On Nipple During Pregnancy?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and i have a skin tag on my right nipple veen there for 5 years. It developed during my first pregnancy. Its has been really tender and so for last couple of days. And today it went bright red like a blood blister. After i had a bath it went back pinky tissue colour with a bit of red in it. And then about half hour later it was leaki g clear fluid. Do i need to go to my gp?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A bright red blood filled blister on the nipple can be due to a cyst filled with blood, a hemangioma (benign tumor of blood vessels), etc.
Leakage of clear fluid from the lesion is suggests that the lesion is cystic.
Skin tag is soft tissue lesion and is not filled with blood.
However, a clinical assessment is required to assess exact location of the lesion and examination.
It is important to assess whether the lesion is arising from the skin or underlying breast.
Management can be planned after clinical assessment and diagnosis.
