Hi Good day Dr. 1. I notice my son is getting some kind of pimple like bumps on his forehead and they are filled with pus... once he scratches his face they burst, even with just the softest touch.. and they spread by the following morning... what can i apply/ use to treat this condition... 2. He also has eczema... can you tell me what is the best ointment/cream that i can use on his skin and also a moisturizing lotion to apply to his body after he bathes... 3. What foods/drinks he should avoid and those he should eat more of? 4. what detergent to use to wash clothes?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have pus filled pimples on forehead which is because of increased sensitivity of getting pigmented. It could be due to clogged pores of sebaceous gland which gets filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cream containing Kojic acid such as Kojivit. Apply on face twice daily. It will lighten scars on skin. Use medicated sunscreen such as Tancare rich in SPF 30. You have to maintain hygiene of clothes and can wash with any good brand detergent. You can go for home remedy as well. Apply mashed potatoes on these pigments. It will resolve. apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil to lighten the pigments. Apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals. You can visit dermatologist once and can go for chemical peeling or micro abrasion if your symptoms not resolving. Take supplements rich in vitamin C.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
