Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

Warts is an infection caused by human papilloma virus. They are commonly treated by ablation wherein the wart bearing tissue is ablated or evaporated with modalities like CO2 Laser under local anesthesia, radiofrequency cautery under Local anesthesia OR they can also be freezed with Liquid nitrogen/Cryotherapy etc.

Warts are an infection and can spread to form more warts, therefore I would recommend that you go ahead with it and get rid of them as soon as possible as.

Salactin is a keratolytic mixture of salicylic acid and lactic acid, the mode of action being keratolysis of thickened epidermis of wart tissue, which becomes soft and then can be easily paired with with a scalpel blade. However, it is slow acting and requires daily application of the keratolytic mixture and may prove unsuccessful for a large number of warts as they keep spreading to form new ones.

Therefore I would suggest you seek another appointment with your dermatologist regarding other methods of removal like either CO2 Laser or Cryotherapy for a faster and complete response
