How To Treat Painful Sore Throat?

My boyfriend has a painfull sore throat. His uvula has a white patch on in (similiar to infection noticed in tonsilitis). And i also notices white foam near the back of his throat . He has a history of tonsilitis, and strupt throat. Would it be one of these? The infection on uvela is worrying me

Hi, thanks for the query.
As per your clinical history it appears as your boyfriend are having upper respiratory track infection may be due to Strep.
I suggest your boyfriend , Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , Paracetemol + Ibuprofen combination , Antibiotic azithromycin , Vit C for 5 days.
