I am 37 weeks pregnant and I am having sharp lower back pains, lower belly pains also I have cramping also like every other day but a friend told me they are braxton hicks still should I be concern and go to the hospital? I also just finished getting the injections last week because my last child was premature. On top of all that my feet has been swolling and hurts on the tops they have been this way for two weeks and still swollen but no matter what I do they won t go down. What should I do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HELLO,
i can understand your concern. low back aches are common during the last trimester of pregnancy. i would advise an ultra sound abdomen to know about the health of the fetus. kindly get your blood pressure checked for the swelling you have been noticing. some amount of selling is usually present during pregnancy. if the ultra sound and the blood pressure are within normal limits you need not worry. hope you are satisfied with the response. thanks for choosing HCM
