How To Treat Oral Sub Mucous Fibrosis?

I am suffering from Oral Submucous Fibrosis from past 15 years, I stopped eating tobacco some 14 years back but still I can't open my mouth properly. My tongue is shortened and lips have thinned.

I seek out for a treatment for the above stated problem.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question, oral submucous fibrosis can be treated with intralesional injection of steroids and hyalurinidase.. for 6-8weeks... if you do not get relief after this also means you have to go for surgical excision of fibrosed bands and get grafting done but success rate is poor because again post operative fibrosis can occur... consult a oral physician and oral maxillofacial surgeon for opinion and needful...
