Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

From your description, I would consider the diagnosis of Intertrigo, which presents with itching in the groin folds. With repeated scratching, it tends to become eczematised. This, with your history of vtiligo could convert into vitiligo, a phenomenon called as " Koebnerisation". Any kind of trauma on the skin could heal with white patches which look like vitiligo.

You need to stop scratching or rubbing to avoid further trauma to the skin. Use a good moisturizer in the morning soon after bath. Use a mild steroid like Beclomethasone for 10- 14 days at bedtime. This could be followed by a topical immunomodulator like 0.03% Tacrolimus ointment at bedtime for 3-4 months for the colour to come back. These have to be prescribed by your dermatologist.

Hope this helps you.

Take care.
