Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand that you have been having acne from around the age of 12 years and want a permanent solution to it.
You must understand that acne or pimples is caused by an interplay of hormones, bacteria and excess oil secretion on the face, chest and back. This is predominantly mediated by the hormonal changes that occur during puberty and can go on till 25-30 years of age. There is no permanent cure for acne as it is an age related process. It can only be controlled by using treatments depending on the severity of acne. The main aim of treatment is therefore to control newer pimples from developing and to prevent scarring.
Once you understand this, you will be able to approach acne treatment better.
If you are planning pregnancy, microdox should be avoided.
You would benefit from using a gel containing clindamycin phosphate in the morning and benzoyl peroxide 2.5% at bedtime.
Use a face wash containing 2% salicylic acid once a day.
Avoid heavy cosmetics and make up.
Eat a healthy diet and avoid foods with high glycemic index.
Drink plenty of water.
remember that it is important to use the gels even when you have no pimples. This will help to reduce the bacteria on the face / chest and prevent new pimples from coming back.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
