Hi Doctor, I have father (he is 56 old)..He is now hospitalized. Blood sugar levels are already so high that it is not detected. He also feel stomachache. Hb level very low so he got a transfusion. How to handling my father?can my father recover? Thanks and Regards, Yuliana Prastika P Indonesia

Dear sir i understand your concern.in my opinion insulin will be the best medicine for you father.it will help the recovery very fast and improved haemoglobin level also but controlling your sugars.once sugar returns then we can consider shifting to oral tablets ...regards
