Hi welcome to HCM.
High blood pressure secondary to anxiety can be treated with anti anxiety drugs like clonazepam for three months. This can cause prompt reduction of blood pressure when coupled with anti hypertensive drugs like telsartan 40 h.Stress management is very essential to prevent further increase in blood pressure.Regular physical exercise for 20 min/day for 5 days a week will help to control your blood pressure to under 130/80 mm of hg.Have a screening 2 dimensional echo to rule out any organic heart disease.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you.
