Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from hiatus hernia. There is two types of sliding hernia and fixed hernia. Symptoms are heartburn that gets worse when you lean over or lie down, chest pain or epigastric pain, trouble swallowing, belching.

It is treated with medical therapy with proton pump inhibitors and lifestyle changes. If symptoms do not improve, you may go for surgery.

1.Nissen fundoplication

Surgery to strengthen the valve between the stomach and the esophagus. Makes it harder for stomach acid to go up the oesophagus.

2.Laparoscopic surgery

Surgery that uses a video camera and thin tubes inserted into small cuts on the body to repair or remove tissue.

3.Hernia repair

Surgical repair of a weak spot on the abdominal wall so that the intestines can't push through.

If symptoms do not improve, consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
