How To Treat Headaches?

ive been having headaches alot since I had my daughter a year ago ive been to a nurse practiner and she just put me on topamax but that didnt help. some days they arent that bad but this past week they have been horrible I dont know what to do but I need some relief

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and the most likely cause for your frequent headaches could be migraine.

As of now, you need medications to provide relief from headache. The options include rizatriptan or sumatriptan tablets.

For prevention of headaches, topamax is a good option. If that has not helped, other options are valproate, beta blockers, botox injections, etc.
