How To Treat Head Injury?

my 15 year old was hit on the side of the head yesterday. it was on the side of the head above his ear. He did vomit, had a headache but woke up this morning feeling fine not even a headache. A few minutes ago, he walked to the store (it's very hot outside) his nose started bleeding. It has stopped now and he feels fine. should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
It sounds like the hit to his head wasn't too serious since he didn't have a loss of consciousness, nausea, dizziness, or any other signs of a concussion.
As for the nosebleed, it may be unrelated and not serious but if it occurs again he should have a doctor take a look at him
