How To Treat Hay Fever?

I have hayfever and just started using cetirizine tablets, however I feel really weak and have a really red rash on both my cheeks forehead and chin but it s the worst on my cheeks with a few spots in it, the rash is very painful and blazing red like I ve been burnt.

hi,
Antihistamines like levocetrizine 5mg once at nightare usually effective at treating itching, sneezing and watery eyes, but they may not help with clearing a blocked nose..corticosteroid nasal sprays or drops instead of antihistamines if:
you have persistent hay fever that does not respond to antihistamines
your main symptom is a blocked nose...A decongestant,like oxymetazoline in the form of a nasal spray, can relieve this. Decongestants reduce the swelling of the blood vessels in your nose, which opens your nasal passage and makes breathing easier...regards
