How To Treat Hanging Skin Around Anus?

I have a hanging skin around my anus when I first found it after having my son it was small and over the last three months it has grown! I am very worried about it! It doesn t bleed but it does hurt when you grab it! Other than that it doesn t cause me any pain!

Hi,

You seem to have skin tag..also called acrochordon. It is a benign growth of skin. It is a harmless condition. But,if you feel embarassing, it may be treated. In my patient having such problem, I go for surgical excision by electrocautery. It is a minor procedure done under local anaesthesia in OPD. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
