How To Treat Growth Hormone Deficiency In A 9.5 Years Old Child?

My son is 9.5 years old and short for his age. When we have shown to the doctor they did some blood tests and told us that he has got growth hormone deficiency. Doctor has prescribed to go for daily injections and told us that we may give injections till his puberty. Other from this daily injections is there any other treatment for this GH deficiency ? Also by taking wrist x ray doctor has said that my son s bone age is 5-5.5 yerars though his actual age is 9.5 years. Pl guide us

I am afraid GH injections are the only treatment for GH deficiency, and it is quite costly. A lower bone age of 5 yrs means his bones are developed like that of a 5 yr old child. GH will enhance that.
