Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I agree with your doctor on the prescription of Tazloc therapy.

As you refer, your blood pressure values have been over the upper limit of a normal blood pressure and anti-hypertensive therapy is needed.

I would recommend that besides a careful performing, some tests like: a routine blood tests, kidney and liver function tests, thyroid hormone levels, blood sugar and blood electrolytes, should be performed, to exclude other causes of high blood pressure.

I advise to reduce salt intake with food, avoid caffeine and perform a lot of physical activity. These are some tips to help you maintain a normal blood pressure.

You should closely monitor your blood pressure, and periodically consult with your attending physician on the maintaining therapy (to avoid low or uncontrolled high blood pressure).

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,
Dr. Iliri

I think you should get your 12 lead Ecg (electrocardiogram)done to check the actual rate and rhythm of your heart.
Moreover you can try some anxiolytics first, like alprazolam(0.25) before going to bed daily.
