How To Treat Fever?

I've had a fever for the past four days (anywhere from 99.5 to 102) and gums on my left upper side are completely inflamed and bleed when I brush. I've also had a dull headache and sore throat for the past few days. Today I woke up with swollen glands in my throat and my throat is sore to the touch.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms, it seems like you are having viral infection which affected your gingiva, throat and according to your headache also your sinuses. My suggestion is to take paracetamol 4x500 mg a day for a few days. You should also take nose spray to clean your sinuses and to avoid bacterial infection.
Drink a lot of fluids, at least 1.5-2 L. Try to intake citruses and vitamin C.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
