ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, a lymphnode in neck for past 15 years is most likely a normal lymphnode. The increase in size is usually due to an infective focus in the vicinity and fever along with may or may not occur. A short course of antibiotics in consultation with doctor is what is required along with antipyretics. In case the fever does not subside or the swelling increases in size markedly, additional investigations like FNAC and blood tests will be required. Regards
