How To Treat Dizziness And Nausea?

My daughter is having dizziness and nausea. She has been on oxycodone for pain from an accident that she had 4 days ago, we are wondering if this pain medication is causing this and besides discontinuing the medication which she has, what can we do to relieve her symptoms.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter experiencing dizziness and nausea . Well the symptoms you mention in query are indicating that in occur due to pain medications as their side effects . I would suggest you to consult doctor for proper examination and rule out condition related to ear . Sometimes after injury there can be symptoms like dizziness and nausea in case there is internal bleeding . There can be other reasons also like loss of blood , panic , anxeity and alteration in blood pressure . Doctor may alter the dose of pain killer or prescribe substitution . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if the condition will be related to ear .
