How To Treat Diarrhea And Acid Reflux Post Gallbladder Surgery?
Both my daughter & myelf had bouts of diahreea after gall bladder surgery, I took pepto bismole & that helped a lot, now I have acid reflux & don t know what to take as the meds available may cause trouble with my bones. I am 80 years old.. What should I do?
Hello dear user! I have gone through your query and understood your concerns! Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic. After gallbladder surgery most of the patients experience gastric problems such as reflux, indigestion etc. First try to avoid foods that worsen the symptoms such as spicy, salty foods, fats, chocolates, etc. Eat in small portions several times a day. If you don't get any improvements with this diet changes, you can use baking soda at home, or drugs such as omeprazole before the meal in the morning. That will help you a lot. I hope this answer was helpful to you! Please kindly rate it as helpful and write a short review about your experience with me! I would appreciate that a lot. Thank you and best regards! DR ERIOL.
