Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal (diabetologist).

Read your query. I appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I think if there is no infection, you can definitely try the Placentrex. It may be a perfect way to help the healing. In addition, to make sure that the infection does not settle in (considering the diabetes status, and assuming the patient is on insulin) I would suggest that you administer the insulin at the affected the thigh. That way the local sugars would be definitely controlled avoiding the infections.

I hope this helps you.
