i'm a fresh graduated medical doctor and have a patient with drug abuse with HIV reaction positive (which i've never had private patient like this before),patient is 18 years old boy, he don't want to tell his condition to his family because he believe that his decicion not to tell about it to family is the best answer of his problem. in other hand, he feel so depressed with his condition of future with HIV positive i've give him any advice, but it doesn't work well should i just let him go or give more advice? Thx 4 ur attention
In that case, better to take help of a psychiatrist. He may be in depression and needs antidepressant treatment or cognitive behavioral therapy. That would help him to handle the situation in better way. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
