How To Treat Deep Bone Bruise And Nerve Damage In Leg Causing Pain And Swelling?

My son was injured at work 2 weeks ago. He has a big gash on his right shin and has lost feeling in his leg and foot. An x-ray showed there was no break. The doctor told him, he had a deep bone bruise and nerve damage due to the numbness. His leg, ankle and foot are still swollen, very painful, he can t walk without crutches and now he has what appears to be blood pooling in his heal. What can this be from and is there a bigger problem here that may have been overlooked?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the injury and wound formation then it may take some time for healing and it is kind of process which may required close observation ideally clinical examination is the way that gives some idea about the wound and seriousness of injury, care needs to be taken for infection and complication, as long as the blood circulation is concern, hope this information helps.
