How To Treat Dark Discoloration Around Eyes And Swollen Forehead?

my sister fell and hit her face on a cement sidewalk. She had two red eyes, scrapes on her forehead and cheek. This happened on Sunday morning. By Tuesday morning the redness around her eyes turned black and blue and her forehead looked more swollen. Today the bruising has spread down her face to her neck. That is 4 days since she fell. She says it doesn t hurt unless she touches it but it looks horrible. Should she see a dcotor?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark discoloration around eyes and swollen forehead. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like overconsumption of salt, which causes fluid retention , allergies , sinus problems , fatigue and lack of sleep or stress. I would suggest you to wash your eyes with cold water thrice a day , wear sunglasses o protect them from direct sunlight and do no apply any cosmetic product . Also take proper sleep and take over the counter. If condition doesn't get well then consult ophthalmologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also ask you to reduce stress level .
