How To Treat Chest Pain And Breathing Caused Due To Choking?
My husband ate a piece of steak and it is stuck in his chest. He has no chest pain and is having no trouble breathing, however, he is unable to swallow water and is producing a lot of saliva. If he goes to bed, will it just dissolve and start moving itself through his system or should we go to emerge and have it removed?
After reading your clinical history it appears that your husband might having piece of steak stuck into his upper esophagus .
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice him upper GIT endoscopy to rule out piece of steak in upper esophagus & removal if possible .
I would advice , you should consult doctor as soon as possible .
Regards.
