How To Treat Cervical Stenosis?

I have cervical stenosis that is moderate to severe. I have an appt. in 2 weeks with a neurosurgeon to discuss my options. How dangerous is this surgery. I am 67 years old and female. I can tolerate most of the pain but nights are the worst for me.

Cervical stenosis pain is very difficult to tolerate. Are you not able to sleep or have to take pain killer daily. I would recommend you to try all non operating measures before you plan to go under knife like soft coller, physiotherapy, steroid injection. Neck surgery for stenosis are usually safe. But as you know every surgery has its complications so this also. Chances of weakness, increase in neck pain are common complications.
