How To Treat Cellulitis?

I was hospitalized in June of last year for 3 days with an infection in my side. Turned out to be cellitus(sp). I have had several more occurances since then on my underarms and sides. I have 2 again on each armpit and the left side has swelled and hardened, is red and very tender. Should I go to the hospital to have it drained?

Thanks for your consultation at HCM!!
I have gone through your case and as your physician I completely understand your health concern.
For cellulitis you definitely should go to hospital and should be drained and appropriate antibiotics should be given to you...
The important thing here is why are you getting repeated cellulitis? . i want to get your fasting and random blood glucose level checked. And full blood count to look for Wbc count along with neutrophills..
Antibiotics should be prescribed based upon the culture and sensitivity report...so go to hospital for further management....
Hope your question is appropriately answered if you still have any feel free to ask..
Regards
