Recovery dependsupon where clot is situated in brain matter . If it is superficial then surgical option is good .but when it is deepseated inside brain .its removal is difficult and depend upon neurosurgn's exprtise and area of brain approached during clot removal .if patient' vitals can be maintained conservatively clot can be allowed to dissolve automatically .
Generally either it take one month to dossolve clot or brain itself confine these clots into small ,relatively harmless capsule
