How To Treat Bilateral Nasal Conchal Hypertrophy?

Hi Doc, I am a 30 year old Male suffering from pain in my right ear which goes upwards to the center of my skull....also my right nostril has a sensation going upwards....also at times I hear tic tic sound in my right ear....I have visited an ENT specialist and he advised a PNS Xray....the reports are normal except it says Bilateral nasal conchal hypertrophy noted I have advised a course of pain killers and Otrinoz nasal drops....Please advise

Hi. A CT scan be done for better diagnosis. X-rays are always just an indication of internal problems and may not be really of diagnostic value . Continue Otrinoz- do take plain water steam inhalations too Simultaneously it is important to know for the cause of ear ache and other symptoms you have. If the nasal drops do not help alone- you may need additional medicines like antibiotic , anti-allergic and so. WHen the medicines do not help surgery may be an option.
