Hi,
I recently done a blood test and the results came back and the doctor told me that i have a bit of a overactive thyroid which was 5.62 and she told me that we will repeat another blood test in 2 months but i think i need treatment because im always feeling depressed and lack of energy and also i feel like someone is choking me sometimes i feel like my heart is going to stop and im about to faint so please help me what should i do i have 5 little kids to take care of.
Good day, It is not clear which blood test report was 5.62 . Was it TSH or t4. If you feel depressed and have lack of energy, then hypothyroidism is a possibility. However, i must also say that you may need to meet a psychiatrist to help you out. It is common for TSH to rise mildly in depression. An accurate advice is possible only after knowing the full thyroid profile. Could you please write back with the full thyroid profile reading?
Please do not worry. Meet a GP and discuss your issues. He may repeat your thyroid funstion test earlier than 2 months Regards Binu
