Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Acne is a chronic recurrent condition, in those who have it. You have to constantly take care of your skin in terms of the products that you would use on your face, try and avoid using greasy oily products on your face, like moisturizers, sunscreens etc, Gel based products are better suitable for acne prone skin.

If I was the treating doctor I would have advised that you use topical antiacne gels like benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel once daily.

Night time you could use a topical retinoid e.g adapalene gel once daily. Retinoids can be continued thereafter for maintenance. They are comedolytic, antiinflammatory and exfoliate existing acne and are ideally suited for maintenance as well

You could use a gentle cleansing lotion e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.

regards
