How To Treat A Broken Blood Vessel On The Inner Left Wrist?

I broke a blood vessel on the inside of my left wrist. The patch is 2 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. It is black and blue around the perimeter about 3/8 inch in and pinkish in the center. My work entails much lifting. Is cold compress adequate for this? 5 on 5 off?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if there is no history of injury then it may not be broken vessel but it could be sub cutaneous lesion and it would be necessary to find out the underlying cause, cold compression could give some relief and this may not be the permanent remedy, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
