Hello and welcome to HCM,
The cause of baldness is primarily hereditary and the most common pattern is called male pattern baldness characterised by loos of hair over head top, recceding of hair line.
Testosterone is known to cause male pattern baldness.
Finatsride is the preparation used to prevent the conversion of testosterone to its active form and reduce baldness.
However, prevention of conversion of testosterone to its active form can affect the sexual drive.
Minoxidil is a preparation which inhibits falling of hair.
However, the drug is effective only when used and hair fall may resume at much faster rate if discontinuation is not proper.
The discontinuation should be slow and tapered off slowly under supervision of the dermatologist.

Thanks and take care
