How To Treat PCOS Mediated Periods Irregularity While On Duphaston 10 Mg And Glucophage 500 Mg?

Hi..Dr..I have in pcos problem last 4 mnts.and may periods is irregular.and my period comes in twise a mnt.my period dates Dec 21.and my next period come in jan.11 i have spotting bleeding in 10 days.and then after 2,3 feb ni8 light spot.and my gyn give tab duphaston 10 mg and glucophage 500 mg.whats wrong with me plz telme dr.im so tensd.

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
I would like to know whether an ultrasound has been done as the PCOS patients have delayed cycles.
As you are having frequent cycles I think you will require Blood tests FSH,LH prolactin, TSH on 2nd day of your cycle.
If along with these tests your ultrasound also indicates the polycystic ovarian syndrome then you will require Diane 35 tablets along with glyciphage
