Keep blood pressure at optimum, to delay
kidney damage.
You may take
corticosteroids and other drugs that suppresses immune system.
Treat high cholestero, lA low-salt diet, Low-protein diets, vitamin D supplements if
nephrotic syndrome is long-term and not responding to treatment.
The increased susceptibility of patients to infections like you have mentioned might be due to leakage of
immunoglobulins from the blood, the loss of proteins in general and the presence of oedematous fluid (which acts as a breeding ground for infections).
Keeping regular follow up with your doctor to keep all the parameters (B.P.,
CHOLESTEROL) at optimum level is the ultimate solution to your problem.
